Hitachi SMART / AVS inverter modular chiller and heat pump series

Product overview

SMART offers ordinary AVS chilled-water and heat-pump selections alongside multifunction AVSH equipment. AVSH has separately rated cooling, space-heating, domestic-hot-water and cooling-with-heat-recovery modes. Its hydraulic circuits and installation data differ from ordinary AVS. Compare the required operating mode rather than adding capacities from different test conditions.

Key technical specifications

Match the complete model and configuration to your design duty. Compare ratings only at the stated water and ambient conditions; then send the model reference, quantity and project requirements for review.

  • Cooling: leaving chilled water 7 °C, water-flow coefficient 0.172 m³/(h·kW), outdoor air 35 °C dry bulb.
  • Heating ratings apply only to the heat-pump configuration. Leaving hot water 45 °C, water-flow coefficient 0.172 m³/(h·kW); the source states outdoor wet bulb 6 °C without a dry-bulb value in this table note.
  • Water-side fouling factor 0.018 m²·°C/kW. Main supply 380 V / 3 phase / 50 Hz; R410A. Ratings do not establish 60 Hz suitability.
  • Ordinary AVS printed model patterns are selection references, not fully expanded order codes. Cooling-only and heat-pump weights are separate; heating ratings apply only to the heat-pump selection.
  • Control supply DC 24 V. Full-load / low-noise-mode sound values are distinct measurements in dB, not an N-suffix product configuration.

Key configuration options

  • Ordinary RH(C)UA065AVS and RH(C)UA130AVS remain printed selection patterns. The complete cooling-only or heat-pump order code requires confirmation.
  • RHUA065AVSH and RHUA130AVSH are the multifunction references. Their A / B / C / D test points and water-circuit duties are listed separately from ordinary AVS.
  • SMART uses the AVS / AVSH references. SMART+ uses AVE references and its own module, compressor, electrical and weight data; the tables are not interchangeable.
  • The low-noise operating-mode values in the SMART table are not an N-suffix model family. Confirm the control mode and acoustic requirements for the project.

Applications

  • Commercial projects selecting ordinary chilled-water / heat-pump modules.
  • Projects evaluating a manufacturer-selected multifunction unit with distinct domestic-water and heat-recovery duties.

Information for equipment selection

  • Ordinary AVS or multifunction AVSH selection, complete reference, quantity and required operating modes.
  • Separate cooling, heating and domestic-water duties, water temperatures and heat-recovery requirements.
  • Water-circuit arrangement, available power, space, acoustic constraints and destination country.

Application suitability requires a review of the project requirements and selected model.

Project equipment procurement

Delta M&E reviews equipment requirements, manufacturer selections and supply arrangements for each inquiry. Send your BOQ or equipment schedule to discuss the required model, documentation and destination.
